Waaaayyy too fun! I had so much fun making these little pin cushions!! Aren't they cute? I was inspired by Purl Bee. If you have never visited their website, you HAVE to! But beware, it's so addicting. I find myself wanting to create all kinds of stuff!! But these were so easy. You don't need to follow their directions, matter of fact, I encourage you not to! Just create your pin cushion the way you want to. I love to be inspired by others, but I never want to follow their directions. It's so much more fun to figure it out myself. so...it took about 20 minutes to make one! I already knew which fabrics I wanted to use, so it was 20 minutes of pure piecing and sewing....heaven!! Send me your pictures of what you create, I would love to see them!!

It makes me happy!!
Pink and green that is! I always love pink and green. I went to Jona's house the other day to get some Pillow & Maxfield. Man, it is GREAT to have her around the corner, except I'm afraid her and Joey might limit my visits to once a week, lets hope not! So....I've been quilting my heart out, and today I skipped my nap and put this together. I wish I didn't have to sleep, I could get so much more done!! Anyhoo.....I'm really in love love love with this quilt!!! Something about it makes me happy!!! Hope you're happy today too!!!!

Blissfest and Beyond.....
Blissfest was a great success, and serious fun! I loved meeting some of my bloggers, and customers that were actually looking for ME!! Looking for MY booth! What fun!!! You made my day!!! I had so much fun, I didn't get to buy a cupcake in a jar, which made me VERY sad! Plus, I didn't take very many pics :( But, here are a few.
The last picture is of Jona and her lovely daughters. They had oodles of aprons, pin cushions, the sweetest hair clips and the cutest tote bags ever! They were an absolute delight. I loved sharing a booth with her, and I hope she'll join me next time!! You will Jona, won't you?
The wonderful ladies from Me and My sister Designs just happened to walk by, and I just happened to have a quilt I made with their fabric, and their pattern. I made them take a picture with me :) They were very accommodating. Thanks Barb and Mary!!
The first pics are of me, not very flattering, it was hot, I was tired, but hey! I was showing some of my customers a quilt I made with some of Heather's new, not yet out adorable Nicey Jane fabrics. Heather is in the background, (it was at her booth) and i just think it's funny!!! See how happy I am?
O.k. I have a lot of work to do. NO ONE has clean clothes to wear, we have NO tortilla chips, and I have lots of quilts that need to be made.

Our next project
I say our next project, because that is what it is. My husbands and my new next project. He doesn't usually work with me on my projects. I've tried, but I cant' get him to cut fabric, sew, or anything fabric related. Well, he DOES carry the boxes of fabric up the stairs for me, and I think that's pretty nice!! But, this next project we will do together, it should be interesting!!! The deal isn't done yet, but it's looking good. As long as things continue the way they are, those slats of wood someday will be our next home!! I will still be quilting, but on a much smaller scale. For now, I'll be at Domestic Bliss on Saturday with my dear friend Jona. I just love her!! come by and visit! After that, I have a feeling I'll be spending some time at Lowe's!!! Wish me luck!

White background, what do you think??
O.k. so I am TERRIBLE at anything to do with a computer! My husband calls me the black thumb of death when it comes to computers, and he's right! It's a good thing he is the expert, and is (most of the time) so willing to help! I really want to update my blog, and have been taking note of others blogs that I like. Most of them have white backgrounds!!! I have spent 30 minutes this morning trying to get rid of my colorful background. For the life of me I couldn't remember how I did it! I've been putting this off for quite awhile, but it's been bugging me. So, I decided to just remove the javascript. You can understand my panic when I removed one, and lost all my followers! Well, so I thought. Guess google has been having problems with that. whew, I didn't do it! anyways, all that to say is I am trying to clean up, add to, make my blog more beautiful. I think the white is better, it helps the actual pictures to really POP! What do you think? Also, Domestic Bliss is having a huge Shabang Nov. 6 & 7th, I will be there! I've mentioned this, but DB just announced Tara Frey will be there too! She wrote Blogging for Bliss. I will have to get her back, and have her sign it! I am really excited about the blissfest, it is going to be a blast!!!! O.k. let me know what you think about the white background, and if you have any suggestions on improving my blog, let me know!! Happy Wednesday!
